OneMothertoAnother（母の日の新しいチャリティキャンペーン）

オーストラリアでは、母の日に#OneMothertoAnotherというキャンペーンが展開されている。狙いとしては、母親同士がお互いを見ている、ケアしているということをコミュニケーションすること。

キャンペーン内容は以下である。

・使っていない化粧品や歯磨き粉などの用品をパックに詰める
・手紙をつけて事務局にキャンペーンを主催している事務局に送付する
・事務局が必要とする母親をピックアップして届ける

母の日に子どもや父親から何かを贈ることを促す試みは多いが、母親同士が連帯し理解を深める試みは今まであまりなかったのではないだろうか？オーストラリアでは、instagram上に、このキャンペーンに参加することをユーザーが意思表示しており、拡散されている。

I seem to be in the craziest house clear-out mode and came up with another car boot-load of items to drop to @StKildaMums! Their #OneMothertoAnother campaign starts this week. It’s a charity drive that gives Melbourne Mums the chance to show that they’re thinking about another Mum this Mother’s Day. このキャンペーンを展開しているのは、St Kilda Mums

使わなくなった赤ちゃん用品や子ども用品をリサイクルして、それらの用品を必要としている生活が困難な家庭に届けることを事業としている。このような母の日を捉えなおしたキャンペーンは面白いし、応援したくなる。是非、日本でも同じような試みが生まれたらいいなと思う。
